World of Warships India Relaunch: Everything You Need To Know
On September 18th, 2019, Wargaming, in collaboration with Basik Marketing Pvt. Ltd., ACT Fibrenet, Zotac, ANT Esports and LG, hosted a relaunch event of their naval-battles-focused game, World of Warships. With the aforementioned already going live, Wargaming has also indicated the possibility of additional content such as thematic ports, containers and patches in the near future. There’s also a possibility of ships sailing under the Indian ensign, but, no promises so far.

Internet services provider ACT Fibernet on Wednesday said it has partnered with Cyprus-based Wargaming to bring ‘World of Warship’ gaming title to India as it looks to cash in on the burgeoning gaming segment in India. The Bengaluru-based company has also launched dedicated gaming tariff plans that will offer users access to fast internet speed optimised to reduce packet losses and jitters while gaming.

The country’s second largest private wired broadband player ACT on Wednesday launched two special tariff plans for gamers offering high-speed internet experience starting ₹500 a month. With the new gaming pack subscription for customers, the company has now forayed into the growing Indian gaming industry. It has also teamed up with Cyprus based gaming giant Wargaming as strategic partner in India to launch the World of Warship title here.

ACT Fibernet introduces new ‘ACT Gaming Booster’ packs for gamers starting at Rs 500
ACT Fibernet has introduced new ‘ACT Gaming Booster’ packs in India at the World of Warships (WoW) launch event. The ‘ACT Gaming Booster’ packs include two variants: Basic, which is valid for a month and Ultra, which is valid for six months. The Basic plan costs Rs 500 + GST, while the Ultra pack is priced at Rs 2,000 + GST. The ACT Gaming Booster packs include two gaming boosts: Speed Boost and Data Boost. These have been introduced in partnership with World of Warships, Zotac Gaming, Western Digital and Games The Shop. All of the partners are providing users subscribing to these packs with special benefits.
Reliance JioFiber effect: ACT Fibernet launches gaming subscription service
Reliance JioFiber announced its entry into the fixed-line broadband space earlier this month and the existing players have already begun tweaking and launching additional services to take on the looming storm. In response to zero-latency gaming promised by Jio Fiber, ACT Fibernet has launched two new gaming packs in two subscriptions in India - one month and for six months, and the benefits differ with each pack.
