Fiber broadband provider ACT launches WiFi-enabled home camera
Fiber broadband ISP ACT Fibernet on Thursday launched its first Wi-Fi-based home camera—ACT Homecam for offering a security surveillance tool to its customers. The ACT Homecam can be set up using the TP-Link Tapo App available on Google Play and since it remains connected to the internet, a user can access the camera’s live feed from anywhere using the smartphone app, the ISP said in a statement. The Homecam, however, works only on the ACT network. Features-wise, it comes with a 2MP camera with 1080p video support and a 110-degree fisheye field-of-view for wide area coverage.
