Bengaluru park gets Wi-Fi facility
Deputy Chief Minister Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayana, who represents Malleshwaram Assembly constituency, inaugurated the free Wi-Fi facility at Gokak Movement Memorial Park located near the Sankey tank, on Sunday. The facility would help give a hi-tech touch to the park which has been one of the favorite lung spaces of the people of the surrounding localities. The park which has got a touch of the historic Gokak movement is sparkling with green-red as theme colours. The wi-fi facility inauguration coincided with the Karnataka Rajyotsava organized at the park. Narayana appreciated the gesture of Act Fibernet which has come forward to take up the responsibility of maintenance of the park and provide Wi-Fi facility.
Integrated Coronavirus ICU opened at Chennai hospital
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami declared open an integrated, modern intensive care mobile unit for Covid treatment at KMC Hospital through video conference. A release said this is the first of its kind facility for corona treatment in the country. This unit has been set up by ACT Fibernet as part of its corporate social responsibility measure.
ACT Fibernet Donates Modular ICU Units to Aid Tamil Nadu Government’s Fight Against COVID-19
As the novel coronavirus continues to spread, ACT Fibernet in its effort to help combat the virus, has joined hands with the Government of Tamil Nadu and donated two first-of-its-kind modular ICU units. Each of the units is equipped with modern facilities and will be installed at the Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai to treat COVID-19 cases. The modular ICU units were inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K. Palaniswami, through a virtual event in the presence of eminent dignitaries including Dr C. Vijaya Baskar, State Minister of Health & Family Welfare, K. Shanmugam, Chief Secretary, Tamil Nadu and J. Radhakrishnan, Health Secretary, Tamil Nadu.
Covid: Kilpauk hospital gets modular ICU units
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, through a virtual event, inaugurated two modular ICU units installed at the Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, to treat Covid-19 cases. The “first of its kind’ modular ICU units are equipped with modern facilities. According to a release, ‘each unit have five beds with state-of-the-art facilities, medical air conditioned to maintain 22-25 Deg C, provision to provide 12-16 fresh air, HEPA filter with Efficiency: 99.999% Down to 0.3μ and Pre & inter Filter, Specialised AHU & Refrigeration to cater to the high demand and contained UV treatment to kill pathogens in the supply & exhaust air.” They were donated to the hospital by ACT Fibernet.
