    • Many plans have a Data limit up to which a customer can enjoy seamless speed. On exceeding the data limit the speed gets reduced to minimum plan speed which depends on the original plan speed. This is called the FUP or the Fair usage policy. If you exceed your data limits, you can purchase Flexybytes+ from ACT that give you additional data at your original plan speed on a one-time basis. There is no limit on how many times you can purchase the same.

    • FlexyBytes+ are additional GB of data that you can add to your account if you feel your monthly data usage limit is insufficient to meet your data needs. This additional GB will be over and above your plan amount and can be consumed at the subscribed plan speeds.

      • FlexyBytes give you access to additional data which you can add if you feel your monthly data limit is insufficient as per your requirement.
      • To add FlexyBytes, open the ACT app and go to FlexyBytes from the shop section on the top left hand side menu
      • Payment for FlexyBytes needs to be done at the time of purchase and it will not be reflected on the bill
      • Validity of FlexyBytes will be till 90 days of your purchase. The left-over data will be carried forward until 90 days or expiry of the same.

    • You can add FlexyBytes+ to your monthly account either from the ACT Fibernet mobile app or by navigating to ‘Package/Usage' section in 'My Account' page on the ACT Selfcare portal. On the app, you need to click the top left hand side hamburger menu, click on shop, followed by Flexybytes and then you can select and purchase any FlexyBytes+ pack from the list of FlexyBytes+ options available.

    FUP is a policy that governs unfair usage of the network by utilizing excessive network resources causing inconvenience to other customers on the network. In such a situation, systems restrict the user to certain speed of bandwidth to minimize such abuse and alert the administrator. Fair Usage limits are defined basing on the average of maximum utilization by highest bandwidth users on the network.
