We, at ACT, believe that all of us have a shared responsibility to care for one another, especially in trying times like these. The pandemic has given us a stronger reason to play a‘part’ together, and bring forward our hands for the cause of humanity.
ACT Fibernet donated 1 lakh masks to BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike). The masks were received by Hon’ble Mayor Goutham Kumar. Hon’ble deputy Mayor Ramamohan Raju, Hon’ble Opposition Leader Abdul Wajid & Hon’ble Health Committee chairperson Manjunath Raju were also present. These masks will be distributed to our health workers and legion of Corona warriors in Bengaluru.
Our company proudly distributed 500 grocery kits to the needy and to individuals who do not have a BPL / APL card at Malleswaram, Bangalore. BBMP Health Committee Chairman Manjunath Raju was present and Hon'ble Dy. CM Dr. Ashwath Narayan also appreciated this gesture. Each of these kits comprised of rice, wheat atta, toor dal, cooking oil and a packet of masala powder. Each kit is expected to support a family of 2 adults and 2 children for a period of over 10 days. Our team members are overwhelmed with fulfilment after carrying out this noble gesture.
Apart from distribution of 25,000 free meals across all cities, ACT Fibernet also provided free WiFi hotspots and TVs at the migrant labour camp behind Mayata Tech Park to provide communication and entertainment for all the people and families living there.
